In my book A MOST LAMENTABLE COMEDY a bear suddenly arrived and nearly stole the show although he mostly appeared in characters' letters. I think there may be some dreadful reason I bring in animals, like if the plot flags, bring in a cute or funny animal... it's worked so far.

@MomJane, I hope you will try the book and that you enjoy it! I enjoy Amanda Quick too.Janet Mullanyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04535985283731981850noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8392182043945362363.post-91341740666846798772012-07-17T16:45:03.085-04:002012-07-17T16:45:03.085-04:00I love that this story doesn't fit into the &q...I love that this story doesn't fit into the "usual" regency/historical tropes. One of the reasons I love Amanda Quick is that her H/H aren't usually members of the ton. I love a book that thinks outside the box... I'm going to have to give this a try.

jbandy8233 AT gmail DOT comMomJanenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8392182043945362363.post-79755423772615456262012-07-17T16:43:40.188-04:002012-07-17T16:43:40.188-04:00what if the kitten hadn't got better??

I know that sometimes I'll read a review that says even though the book has flaws it's worth reading, so I'll ask a question here--what's an absolute deal breaker for you?

(For anyone who HAS read the book ... what if the kitten hadn't got better???
