I suggest you read The Z Word or Kiss Me, I'm Irish by Bella Street. They are both the first books in a series. All 6 of the Apocalypse Babes books are out now.

I recommend Shifting Hearts by Dominique Eastwick. It is a novella, but very well written in my opinion. I also can recommend another novella ~ Marooned In Miami by Sandra Bunino. It is another novella, but both are starts to series and in my opinion are worth the read.
