The Lei Crime Series by Various Authors - Spotlight and Giveaway

This post is part of a virtual book tour organized by Goddess Fish Promotions. The Lei Crime Series: eight novellas, by eight different authors, is based on Toby Neal's vivid and captivating Lei Crime Series.

Each week in June this tour will explore two different books in the series. This week we are featuring two crime/mystery/suspense books: Half Moon Girls by Corinne O’Flynn and A Snake in Paradise by Eden Baylee.

The authors will be awarding a $30 Amazon/BN gift card to a randomly drawn winner via rafflecopter during the tour. Please click on the banner to see the other stops on this tour.

Even paradise has a dark side...

When Detective Leilani Texeira begins investigating a murder on Kaua`i, she's struck by one thing: the victim looks like her. As Lei battles dark memories stirred up by the likeness, a friend calls, worried that her daughter didn't come home last night. Lei soon discovers that the dead girl and the missing girl were friends and last seen together the previous day.

Can she conquer her demons and capture a killer in time to rescue the captive?

Lainey Lee has always dreamed of going to Hawaii. It should have been her honeymoon trip, only it never happened. Now, in a poetic twist of fate, she is making the journey twenty-seven years later—following a messy divorce.

Once on the Big Island, Lainey discovers paradise, but white sand beaches and blue skies are not all Hawaii has to offer. She soon meets Julian, a mysterious stranger ten years her junior. They share an instant connection.

Lainey is eager to shed the fears that trapped her in a loveless marriage, but is Julian a tempting distraction, a new beginning, or a snake in paradise?

    1. Hi Mai, I'm currently in the middle of Stephen King's ON WRITING. I have always wanted to read it, but kept reading fiction in the last while. Sometimes it's important for me to immerse myself in a book of craft for inspiration and knowledge.

Thanks for commenting and for following our tour from the beginning, very kind of you and I hope you are able to read some of the LEI CRIME series,

    2. Hi Mai!
I'm reading THE PRACTICING MIND at the moment, it's about learning to focus on the moment and the process in all things in life, and not rush around from task to task. I tend to multi-task while at my desk, and it isn't anywhere near as productive as being focused in the moment. ;)

For fiction, I am re-reading THE MISTS OF AVALON by Miriam Zimmer Bradley. LOVE!!
